We spent a long weekend in Killington, Vermont, where we skied for two days. We also met up with some friends from Massachusetts, whom we haven't seen in two years. It doesn't seem like we've been away for so long.
It's always nice to come home after a long trip. We used to do three day ski trips, but we're usually too sore to enjoy the full third day of skiing, so this time we returned first thing in the morning, arriving home early enough to pick up the cats from the kennels. Monday evening passed quietly... apart from all the complaining from our cats.
Cally was so relieved that she shed everywhere upon returning. Anyone know how to teach a cat to vacuum? The three of them followed me around all evening, while Cally insisted on being a lap cat more than usual. I wouldn't have minded, except she showed her gratitude for being rescued by farting. A lot.
