Suppose time has fractured, the universe has turned dark, and the Doctor, as the evil Valeyard, has become hated throughout the galaxy. There are survivors, and they’re out to save the universe… and seek revenge.
Story Background
Doktor 13 is a Doctor Who fan fiction idea from my friend Clint Matsen. It covers the twilight years of the thirteenth regeneration of the Doctor in an altered, dark timeline. Clint was working on an introductory story set in Victorian London, and we talked about collaborating on some other tales. However, the writing project stalled, so I decided to go ahead and post my first two stories so they wouldn't sit in the dark forever.
The premise: The Doctor has become one of the most hated people in the galaxy because, as the evil Valeyard, he has given the Daleks the keys to the universe. Time has fractured, and the universe is a dark place. A few survivors, like Romana and the Ankari, struggle to save the universe and seek revenge.
